Erntegang was founded in 2007 in Magdeburg by S. Manteuffel and M. Loerwig as an experimental music project. Since then, a
number of recordings have been released in small editions.
Since 2012 Erntegang is run by S. Manteuffel alone. Releasing small edition recordings still continues.
